Homemade Bird Feeder

Building a bird feeder can be a great project for mothers, fathers and children. It's pretty simple, a bird house that can be hung in the garden and bring years of enjoyment for the whole family to build. You can either start from scratch with material you have around the house, or you can create a set that all you need to make a very attractive and functional investor has to buy.

You can use a very simple bird feeder to make an egg carton by cutting off the lidand fill the pockets with egg bird food. To attach the box, bag simply holes in the four corners of the carton and run string through each hole. Then gather together the string and tie a knot. They enable investors to hang from every branch.

Soda bottles also make great bird feeders. Wash, a two-liter soda bottle and two holes in the bottom of the bottle. Thread a piece of wire through the holes and twist together the wire ends. Place anchors near the bottom of the investorsand make an opening for bird seed or grain removed.

Kids also like to make cardboard tube bird feeders. All you need is a tube from a paper towel roll and a piece of yarn. Tread the yarn through the tube, then lay the pipe on a piece of kitchen paper or plastic and removes it with honey. Use birdseed or cereal and sprinkle it all over the sticky tube. Tie the yarn into a knot and hang your completed project from any branch in your garden.
