Music Theme Cruises - Christian, Country, Smooth Jazz, Rock and Roll - Just to name a few

More and more cruise is always music to our ears.

Whether you have choices in Christian music, Smooth Jazz, Country, Rock and Roll or one of the many musical, there is something for everyone on today's cruise ships.

Soon, kicks November 2-9, 2008, saxophonist Dave Koz famous by its Annual Smooth Jazz Cruise with a 7-day trip through the Caribbean. (Note have changed some of the originally scheduled ports-of-call due to the recent hurricaneDamage.) It's called Dave Koz and Friends at Sea, and there are still a few cabins on Holland America's Westerdam. I enjoyed listening to the popular musician, when he previously co-hosted the morning show on radio in Los Angeles KTWV with the lovely Pat Prescott.

If you do not do it in November, the first Playboy Jazz Cruise hosted some very impressive artists coming January. These include Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, Poncho Sanchez and many others. This isalso a 7-day Caribbean sailing, and runs from January 25 to February 1 2009 on the same ship, Holland America's Westerdam.

Here's an interesting thought that journey. He returned to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Superbowl Sunday, February 1st. The 2009 Superbowl is held in Tampa, Florida, that same Sunday, the not so far from Ft. Lauderdale. It takes about one hour to fly, or drive three fifty-seven hours. At the latest review the one-way flight on Southwest was running all over$ 70 to $ 170 I'm just throwing out there, because this would be for me it's a good opportunity for the treatment of post-holiday blues are. Like most of us, the hardest part of the holiday is the close of it. With something to look forward, it would help get to the transition home. As I said, just a thought.

The same company organizing the above two cruises is also putting together a Smooth Jazz Cruise, is that the week before the Playboy cruise. This is from January 18-25,2009 and offers a backstage to the sounds of Wayman Tisdale, Peabo Bryson, Kirk Whalum pass among many other top jazz musicians. It is also on Holland America's Westerdam.

By the way, these are three charter Cruises completely. What this means is the whole ship focuses on the featured jazz artists and jazz events. It is not just a corner of the ship, the music highlights. If you are a jazz fan so, this is a great way to indulge your passion. If you are not a jazz fan,I would be out some other music-cruise options. There are many music cruises are available. Country, Christian, rock and roll, Irish, Big Band, 50's and 60's, to name a few.

If you want to discuss other music theme cruises ships are about the different cruise, check out my theme cruise site listed and you will be able to cruise link to more music. By the way, music is just one of more than 50 themes theme listed on my cruiseWebsite.
