Bob Marley Biography and Top 10 songs

Bob Marley is one of my favorite artists for a long time. I probably own more Bob Marley CD of any other band or artist, with the exception of Wu-Tang. My friends mum D, is partly responsible for my Bob heard over the years because I was small I the song Jammin 'and used other similar services used for the 45 single I had to play all the time and I had only the exterior. I would say that I have a Bob CD in my stereo for 90% of the time (which can have 3 to time). Bobjust good music but also the messages that the lyrics were for peace and freedom.

Robert "Bob" Nesta Marley was born in Jamaica on 6 February 1945 and is the most successful reggae artists of all time. Legend album has more than 12 million copies sold worldwide. When Bob was still a child he lived in the slums of Trench Town in Kingston and had a reputation of "self defense", which earned him the "Tuff Gong", a title that he and the Wailers are used to create his own world recordLabel in 1970.

Bob and some of his friends (Bunny Livingston, Junior Braithwaite, Peter McIntosh, Beverley Kelso and Cherry Smith formed the Wailers in 1963 but by 1966 there were left only Bob, Bunny and Peter. Wailers released their first album (Catch A Fire) in 1973 to great success after their signing to JAD Records in London, England. Concrete Jungle is the most successful song of the album. Soon to follow was the release of Burnin 'which had some of the Wailersfavorite song I Shot The Sheriff, Get Up, Stand Up and Small Axe. Eric Clapton has had huge success with a cover of I Shot the Sheriff, Bob helped to increase the public eye.

In 1974 the Wailers broke up, each pursuing his own solo career, but Bob continues as "Bob Marley & The Wailers", with his new backing band, the Carlton and Aston Barrett, Junior Marvin, Tyrone Downie, Al Anderson and records was Earl Lindo. Background singers RitaMarley (Bob Women), Marcia Griffiths and Judy Mowatt.

The new line-up played their first international hit with No Woman, No Cry, released the album Natty Dread in 1975 along with other hits, Lively Up Yourself and Rebel Music. The album Rastaman Vibration was released in 1976 in the United States and was atop the Billboard charts for 4 weeks.

Two days before Bob Marley was around Smile Jamaica Bob, Rita and their manager were injured startingduring a shootout at the home of Bob. The attack was politically motivated so many people felt the tour was a report supporting the rally. Even if all parties involved serious injury, were all full from recoveries and the tour continues as planned with an injured Bob on stage.

By the end of 1976 Bob Marley left Jamaica and moved to London, England, where he recorded two albums (Exodus, the hits had included: Exodus, Three Little Birds, Jammin ', One Love and Waiting in Vain, and Kaya which boasted: Easy Skanking, Kaya, Is This Love, Satisfy My Soul and Sun Is Shining on its individual). While in London, Bob was arrested for possession of cannabis.

In 1978, Bob returned home for the One Love Peace Concert to help with the search for peace and to calm the warring parties in Jamaica. Uprising, which was published in 1980, has been to Bob's last studio album and is one of his religiousAlbums. The album contained Could You Be Loved, Be Forever Loving Jah and Redemption Song (his famous lyrics: emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind is to possess ...).

Bob died May 11, 1981 of cancer that started in the toe (due to an accident soccer) in 1977. Bob refused the foot because of his Rastafarian beliefs that the body must remain completely amputated to say. Over time the cancer was in the stomach of Bob, liver metastases,Lungs and brain.

The comparison was released after Bob's death and contained the unreleased song Buffalo Soldier and songs previously only in Jamaica (Jump Nyabinghi and Rastaman Live Up).
