Film Review - Predators (2010)

CONCLUSION: After 23 years, Hollywood has finally made a worthy successor to the cult classic, despite lacking some of the, font color, excitement and mystery of the original.

The Good: From the beginning, it is clear that the director Nimrod Antal knew exactly what the Predator in both original waste no time, the film opens to a dramatic drop in the free nature Royce (Adrien Brody) as he regain consciousness , during the descent fromSky and lands in a jungle courtesy of a parachute attached. He was soon hard by a group of other people joined in a similar problem in that jungle. Did not take long to recognize this group, are the mutual distrust, in the same situation and how to begin to help each other, they realize that I'm on another planet, and that something is hunting them. Return to the jungle was just, but the idea of creating an alien planet where PredatorsDeposit their game is a cool take on the story. Allows the types of situations we've seen the original film, but is free to explore some new areas. The first sequence Predator attack dogs is fascinating, as are some of the sequences of the hunting trap. The film is also not the easiest way to slam into the wall-to-wall action, but it takes time to develop the characters and the situation. There are some nice touches, including several variations of Predators, a largeSamurai fighting style and a charming final battle. The subplots with Laurence Fishburne and Topher Grace are very fresh for this story, and add a different angle of the process. The music too closely to the original music by Alan Silvestri. "Predators" is a worthy successor to the cult classic, fun monster-fighting packed in a well-executed high concept plot.

The Bad: As a continuation of the film, unfortunately, lost a little 'taste ofOriginal. Although the signs are very good, not the color that had the original cast of the film. The amount of the appeal Predator is also less than expected, especially in the first half, at which the film is a plural, rightly expect more, as a result, the film is at times more like a remake than a sequel. Emotion and sci-fi mystery are only diluting the death scenes seem clearly not shocking or fear, and the sci-fi mystery that createdSense of awe and wonder is this the first movie. It may just be that we have already seen this scenario so that it loses its effect.
